#100days100scenes: Pushpak

Its toughest to make people laugh without words. The finest comedy that Chaplin made was that way. Pushpak was that bold attempt in Indian cinema. Not describing it too much. The same combination of Kamal Haasan and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao gave some of the best comic hits - Apurva Sagodarangal ( Appu Raja in Hindi) and the delirious MichealMadanKamaRajan that had Kamal Haasan playing 4 roles.

But here is Pushpak.

For a change let the scenes do the talking. The first 8 minutes is an amazing description of an Indian chawl dwelling environment for an unemployed youth. Especially love the shirt washing scene.
